Remembrance

Every bird who has passed through our gates has left a mark on us. This page is dedicated to those who are no longer with us — the ones who taught us patience, filled our days with noise and colour, and reminded us why this work matters.

They were loved

Some birds arrive at the sanctuary already elderly, carrying years of history we can only guess at. Others come as young rescues who, despite our best efforts, don't make it. Each one is mourned, remembered, and honoured.

We believe every bird deserves to be remembered by name. Below are some of the birds who have passed while in our care, a few still around — We will miss each and every one of them dearly.
