Whoppa
Whoppa is the heart and soul of Parrots in Paradise. An eclectus parrot with a heart of gold, Whoppa has been with us since 2009 and shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.
Whoppa came to us ---
Today, Whoppa is the unofficial greeter of the sanctuary. He knows the sound of the gate, the smell of fresh fruit, and exactly which volunteers are most likely to give him a piece of corn. He has opinions about everything and is not shy about sharing them.
Eclectus parrots can live for 50–60 years in captivity. Whoppa has decades ahead of him, and we intend to make every one of them wonderful.
